egolf.ca is not only a national business to customer (B2C) e-commerce site but part of a network of golfing
professionals helping the consumer make better buying choices.
Our expertise in ColdFusion allowed us to modify AbleCommerce and allow this flexible and
robust application to better serve the golfing public.
Stewart, Weir & Co. Ltd.
(Edmonton, Calgary, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie AB and
Yellowknife NT) - Web-Sters has provided network, firewall
and gateway services to Stewart, Weir. We worked closely with them to produce their first
web site and working towards a custom Time Entry and Tracking application (web based) so
their remote personnel can enter their time more efficiently. The application will interface to
the existing accounting server and provide faster turnaround for the payroll and billing processes.
A recent and exciting opportunity with SWG is the VPN (Virtual Private Network) Web-Sters
has implemented seamless connectivity between their offices in Calgary, Edmonton and Ft. McMurray. All data traffic between
these sites is encrypted and secure while still using the public Internet as the transport network.

BetShopper
is a new concept that allows two individuals to bet against each other on sporting events. Web-Sters
developed the entire site to the specifications of the US based client. All programming was in ColdFusion
and SQL Server was used as the database. Administration of the entire site can be accessed via the web. Administration
includes maintaining the database of all sporting teams and events as well as "one click" bet
resolution and reconcilliation. The site is not live at this time since the client is currently seeking
investors for the final offshore portions of the application.
The Berrenger Group (Vancouver, Kelowna, Courtney and
Errington BC) - Web-Sters is in the process of writing an Intranet web based application to manage
the support call processes for The Berrenger Group. Their business needs require a flexible and robust
application to aid their customer management. Future plans for Berrenger include an interface to
some of the information to enable customers to view and initiate support requests.
Smart Photography (Edmonton AB) - As an established company, Smart Photo is moving on to the web. Web-Sters
is providing guidance and production for the company's first web site.
NineDots Inc. Rapid Prototyping has asked us to produce a an exciting
site for manufacturers to get bids on production jobs. We will be working with our design partners
for the look and feel and Web-Sters will produce the application. This application will be written with
ColdFusion. This is the future of e-Commerce. Business to business. Making the Internet create exciting new
possibilities.
Health-In-Action has contracted Web-Sters to maintain
and modify their existing site. The maintenance and modifications will be based on SQLServer and Active Server Pages.
Edmonton Exchanger and Manufacturing Ltd. is now enjoying additional
security on their network with a firewall solution provided by Web-Sters.
